A hidden gem

This is a magical place- absolutely stunning. This 20 minutes from the craziness of Ella traffic into the calm mountain side. Beautiful views, large,modern rooms, faultless service, great food- all at a fabulous price. It also has free driver’s accommodation. They can organise transport from Ella . Thoroughly recommend one of our best stays in Sri Lanka!

Beautiful Restful Stay

We had an amazing two nights at Planters Bungalow and wish we could have stayed longer. It's such a relaxing location, the rooms and views are beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the friendly service from all staff, the delicious breakfasts and the swimming pool. They kindly arranged the hotels tuk tuk to pick us up from the train station and we used it to visit Little tle Adams Peak for a small fee as well.

Highly recommended

A very nice small hotel. Well-maintained garden, beautiful swimming pool, and very attentive staff. You can take a tuk-tuk to Ella (about 15 km). From your room, you have a beautiful view.
