Best stay
It was another brilliant stay at Amanda Beach Resort in Pasikudah. We have been coming here for the past 6 years, and are extremely pleased with the hotel. The staff are exceptionally service oriented and quickly feel like friends. One of the highlights is Rita, the head cook, she cooks like a loving mother, from the heart, and genuinely wants to give you the best meal possible. If you don’t eat she’s disappointed , which only shows how much she cares. Her prawns, made from her own recipe, were a culinary delight, and the chicken biryani she prepared was outstanding.
I also want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Rajan, Kanthan and Nisha, their service was superb and nothing was too difficult for them. They’re always there to please, and we keep returning because they have earned our respect and clearly value repeat guests.
The premises are nice, and one of the main ways I judge a hotel is by the quality of sleep it provides. At Amanda Beach Resort I slept extremely well each night, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel offers great value: delicious food, wonderful beach views, excellent service, and easy access to two beaches — one in front of the hotel and another just behind it.
If you’re planning a trip to Pasikudah, Amanda Beach Resort will not disappoint. Many thanks to all the staff for outstanding service, we look forward to visiting again.

Nice hotel if only the way to the beach were nicer
A very nice hotel in itself, with large, modern AC rooms, a fabulous breakfast, large pool and nice staff. What a pity, however, is that you can only get to the beach via a kind of construction site, very unattractive and also the beach is not really inviting, although or because of that totally empty

One of the Best stays in Pasikudah with outstanding food and service.
Amanda Beach Hotel is located in the Eastern Province in the City of Pasikudah. We’ve been coming here since 2021 and are now regular guests, this time we booked 4 rooms and really enjoyed a beautiful 4 night stay.
The hotel consist of two wings, The rooms in the new wing are brand-new, well-appointed with Air conditioning, comfortable bedding, and a pool view. Most of the fittings are Italian made. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Our friends stayed in the old wing, the rooms are refurbished it has spectacular sea views. The lounge next to our room is calm and relaxing, I enjoyed my morning Tea there.
One of the highlights of our stay is Rita, who has been the cook here for many years. Her home-style recipes are mouthwatering, and we always enjoy our meals. On This visit she prepared a shrimp curry with rice—simply the best, also she grilled a beautifully marinated perfectly seasoned fish- fresh and absolutely outstanding. The breakfast at Amanda beach resort was also very excellent , specially the Sri Lankan breakfast is a must. Rita makes a fantastic fish curry it's absolutely flavorful.
Rita is warm, friendly, and cooks from the heart; over the years she has become like family to us. She is supported by an excellent team Rajan the manager, Kanthan, Nisha, Dumidu and others they are all so kind and looked after us with so much care and attentiveness. The service here is top class always. On this visit I had left my IPad in the room, Rajan the Manager called us and made sure we got our IPad back, such is the quality and nature of the people who work here. We are so thankful to Rajan for his attentiveness and responsible work ethic, where integrity and honesty shines through and through by this wonderful man, who really looked after us so well. Greatly appreciate all of them!
The hotel sits directly on the beach, and I enjoy my morning walks there—it’s truly beautiful. Some mornings you can watch fishermen bringing in their fresh catch, and it’s a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise. For swimming I prefer the stretch of beach behind the hotel, which is my favorite in Sri Lanka: turquoise blue, calm, and very safe. This is the best part of Pasikudah.”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back again. It's been such a such delight to experience the hospitality and incredible service at Amanda beach resort, We will be back soon! Wonderful hotel
I had a wonderful stay. The staff is lovely and helped us with everything they could — they provided clean towels, adapters, and anything we asked for. They have cold beers, a restaurant, and a beautiful pool. It's a private place, perfect for resting and relaxing. It's also very close to the beach.

Wonderful Stay
Mr Saman was a great manager and a great host. He really helped make our stay very comforting as he was a great help to my wife’s elderly parents.
Amanda Resort was a fantastic location, the view was absolutely breathtaking as our rooms were surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the beautiful beach. The food was also very delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The food and the accommodation was also set at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
