Brilliant stay

We were lucky enough to spend 10 nights at the Aida after our flight back to the Uk was cancelled. The hotel is next to the river and a short walk to a stunning beach. The staff were fantastic all through the holiday. special shout out to Ridma, who greeted us every night in the beer garden with a big smile. Plenty of really good restaurants nearby .hotel rooms were small but had everything you needed. Although we moved into a much larger Villa near the pool. Breakfast was standard Sri Lankan breakfast. Excellent value for money .

Beautiful Ayurveda hotel directly on the Bentota River

Beautiful location on the Bentota River. Simple but clean but older Ayurveda hotel (2-3 stars) with very friendly staff. Rooms are small and simply furnished, but with air conditioning and a safe. Special Ayurveda food. If you are not doing an Ayurveda treatment, like me, I recommend just booking breakfast, which is the usual breakfast in Sri Lanka. As the hotel is located right on the river and there are ponds, pools and fountains in the beautiful garden, be sure to bring mosquito spray or something similar, otherwise you will come back completely bitten. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to Bentota train station and Aluthgama. Tuk Tuk to Aluthgama center costs around 300 LKR. This is negotiable.

The perfect place for a perfect vacation

One of the very best service that we’ve had in this hotel. Super friendly staff,sweet pool and the food was lovely. Rooms was nice and clean.don’t forget to experience their Ayurveda treatments.it’s fantastic.Looking forward to come again
