Einfache Unterkunft mit netten Vermietern

Die Unterkunft war ausreichend, wenn auch ein wenig unsauber. Zum Strand gelangt man problemlos auf ein paar Schleichwegen durch Hotelanlagen. Das Frühstück bestand aus Eiern, Kaffees, Toast und Obst. Für alle die mehr Luxus brauchen ist es wohl nichts. Aber mir hat's gereicht. Die Familie ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Not a pleasent stay

owner needs to learn some customer service skills. Rooms were never cleaned after 3 days! Wifi is extremely poor. Breakfast was good but tea/coffee poor. I felt I was being watched all the time too.
I wouldn't stay here ever again!

Avoid! Greedy and uncomfortable

On arrival this place seemed promising, big smiles and tea to greet us. (We were subsequently charged for the tea). Although the location in Bentota is good near the beach, the hosts have a thing or two to learn about hospitality! The bedsheets were stained (I told myself it was suncream!), bathroom smelt of drains and no fridge as advertised. The fan had two speeds, off and like a helicopter, so our first nights sleep was incredibly bad. The hosts did fix the fan the next day, but took until 8pm at night and we couldn't access our room to refresh after being at the beach all day. The hosts then proceeded to get very upset that we had made our own cheaper arrangements for onward travel (with an insured and qualified driver)....to the point where they both took to task our driver!! The atmosphere unfortunately became very awkward and we sadly left without saying goodbye. The worst hosts we met in Sri Lanka.
