Not worth the visit

We arrived rather late, around midnight. The staff at front desk wasn’t very helpful with any questions and did not have any costumer service skills.
Once showed to the room on floor 5. My bed had several yellow stains on the white sheets and little insects in the bed. There was no soap or towels in the room.
Once we had ask for some towels the staff member proceed to come back with one towel for the three of us and asked if that was ok !!
Was the proceeded to be woken up by construction hours before check out time.
I do not recommend and will never return or recommend !!

POOR SERVICE NOT RESPECT THE GUEST

This place in Really bad.. even they not respect the guest us well.. we are in green palace hotel with our family in 6 th floor.. when we are there they doing constructione work on 6 th floor. too much noise can't sleep..and staff are really bad becouse we ask for help they did not help us.. i went the receptione and i told them we have infant 3 months old he have to sleep atleast.. becouse of construction sound he cannot sleep can you stop that please.. and the guy told ok he will inform but nothing heppen they are countinue doing work.(NO RESPECT THE GUEST POOR SERVICE).
and room look very dirty. toilet aslo very dirty we cannot breat properly inside toilet there was really bad smell.
Manager of hotel also really bad not helpfull.

Update pictures because what you see here is not what you see there

The wires are hanging from ceiling. Room smells and dirty bedsheets. I didn't care much as was outside most of the time. Was shocked to see breakfast as it was so basic. Staff was OK. But they should try harder to keep it clean. Everything was so old. I was sad that I canceled 4 star hotels and chose this place based on pictures

It was ok to stay here mostly preferred by business traveler i guess, down the street there is a beach which is not so big i can say, all around you will find all kind of restaurants, grocery store, sim card store, opposite to hotel there is an indian restaurant which is budget friendly and good food available there, public transport is easily available from here, hotel breakfast was not so good, staff are very humble and kind, airport taxi you will get for 1750 LKR if you book yourself so don't go for this facility from hotel. rooms are not so huge on first floor if you are travelling with family make sure about the rooms before check inn.

Worst hotel i've stayed in my entire life

If it would be possible to rate it -1, i would.
It's far away from everything. The beach is about 700m, the city centre is 7-8km and with the traffic that's about 30min minimum. Dirty room, dirty sheets, dirty walls. The hotel provides no breakfast as opposed to the information we were provided when we made the booking. It's cheap, but that's the only advantage. We paid about 27$ and felt robbed. Huge bugs in the so called kitchen.
