Family friendly & great for couples also

Such a lovely hotel, the room is so clean & the garden is amazing
They have 2 pools, and if you are lucky you might get too see some monkeys pass by
The staff is very friendly & they take such good care of you as a guest.
Breakfast is with some lovely fruits, that is a great + for me

The manager was great very helpful. Made dinner for us for the couple of nights we were there. His wife is an excellent cook. The pool was good but shady by the early afternoon.
WiFi needs a booster to get to the pool area though

Pleasant stay

We stayed here for 3 nights.
When we arrived we were shown to our room. It was 2 metres by 3 metres with a 4ft bed. The bathroom was tiny, you could only fit 1 person in at a time. My husband asked if they had anything bigger and they gave us a family room, which had 2 king size beds. We had to pay extra, but it was worth it.
There are no mosquito nets, plug ins or coils here, unlike the 8 other properties we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. so make sure you bring something as I got badly bitten in the night.
The gardens and pools are lovely. The staff were friendly but the WiFi was sketchy.
The food was average but expensive, so we tended to have our dinner elsewhere.
They had card payment available but wanted to charge a percentage to use a debit card. Including our own bank charges it is wise to pay cash.
All in all We had a pleasant stay and it was only a 500mtr walk to the beautiful unspoilt Kosgoda beach.

Amazing

We started our trip in Sri Lanka at Luca’s Memorial hotel. An amazing place for our family to meet up! The people working at the hotel are realy friendly and the rooms were amazing. The food was really good and everything was just really good. Enjoyed our time here

Excellent

The hotels has amazing facilities-nice garden with quite big and clean pool for everyone to use. There is also seating area for every room to just hang out in the evening. Staff very welcoming. There are not many restaurants and shops around the property so be prepared. Air conditioning was a bit noisy.
