Best romantic boutique hotel in Tangele
I love this hotel .Everything is so romantic. I recommend to everyone coming in Tangele. The rooms are very good size , the view from room id fabulous, the food is very tasty.Tje hotel is situated just 3 min walking to beach.Best part of hotel is stuff.Best I ever met in Sri Lanka. Thank you for them , expecially to my friend - Manesh Lakmal .Tje management must be proud with him.I will come back for sure

Excellent value for money
This small hotel or rather resort has only 13 rooms, but all very spacious. Although it was fully booked during our stay, you always had the feeling of being alone. The hotel is located a few meters from the beautiful and secluded beach where picturesque fishing boats are docked. (Tip: every morning at 8 am you can help catch up with the fishing nets!) The towns of Ranna and Tangalle are a little further away and can only be reached by taxi or tuktuk. The roommates are likely to come to a large extent from Russia. This is not surprising as we learned that the owner also comes from there. This complex, built around the nice pool, exudes a homely atmosphere. By the way, this pool is open 24 hours a day and invites you to take a dip in the hot nights. The bar or restaurant is always busy during the day and the food is good. Last Order is at 10 p.m. Fruit juices and cocktails are served nicely, although the latter do not contain much alcohol and are unfortunately much more expensive than in neighbouring facilities. Breakfast can be taken in classic (English breakfast), or in four different local variations. Everything is very nicely prepared and tastes good. Chefs, waiters, reception and housekeeping do a good job and are always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large (min. 48 m2), furnished in the country and have a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, WiFi, many outlets, fan and A/C. They have terraces or on the upper floor two balconies with comfortable armchairs. There is a glass bottle with drinking water in the room for ecological reasons, which can be refilled for free. Electric kettle and tea bags are also provided. If you prefer to drink coffee, go to the bar or buy coffee at the supermarket of Ranna (4 km away). TV is not available. The rooms will be every 2nd. Day cleaned. They all have pool views, no sea views as the sea is about 100 meters away and tall trees block the view. The ambience and the nice staff made our stay as pleasant as possible. Since the ratio of price to performance is fine, 5 stars are justified.

Amazing !!
We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and everything was absolutely perfect – from the service to the facilities and overall experience. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, making our stay truly memorable.
A very special thank you to Lakshan and Dulaj, who were impeccable in every way. Their dedication and genuine hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. We are deeply grateful for their care. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we truly hope to return one day to relive such a wonderful experience.

Quiet and relaxing days
The Green Parot Resort is very close to nature and you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.
It was offered to us right on arrival if we wanted to let the driver Sam know where. That was very much to the advantage as I could not yet run that far (accident in Sri Lanka).
The rooms are very spacious and clean, breakfast is also top, staff very friendly and nice.

Comfortable and chilled
Having spent three weeks travelling round Sri Lanka, I was looking for a quiet and comfortable hotel to spend the last few days of my holiday just chilling. Green Parrot proved to be an ideal choice. The location is very peaceful, just a few yards from a quiet sandy beach. The bedroom that I shared with my husband was large and very comfortable with two balconies: one faced inwards towards the pool, whilst the other provided a view of the lagoon at the front of the property. We enjoyed using the hotel facilities, including having a massage and swimming in the large and spotlessly clean pool. Breakfasts were tasty; I especially liked the curd with fresh fruit and granola (a really nice touch at Green Parrot was the homemade granola, dips and jams). Most days we ate either lunch or an evening meal in the restaurant on site (usually accompanied by a posse of gorgeously friendly and not too demanding cats). The chefs - Shan, Dananjaya, Arshad, Hasara, Rashmika and Aakash - clearly take pride in their work and provided us with some lovely meals. The hotel has recently undergone new management, and it seems to be having a bit of relaunch with innovations added all the time. I am certain that it will be very successful. The location is out of town, but there are a few restaurants and beach bars close by. The staff at Green Parrot were helpful in arranging tuktuks and taxis, and can also recommend organised excursions.
