Superb accommodation at a quality homestay at a reasonable cost

Beautiful spot on the top floor with a magnificent view of the tea estates and the mountain ranges in the distance. Lovely homely place with a beautiful family who took care of all our needs with a smile and good cheer. Well maintained and equipped with good faclities and all we needed at a very economical price. Short walk to the bus and railway station, shops and markets. Olive's City Centre restaurant in town provide great vegetarian and other meals where we ate healthy, delicious and well presented meals multiple times at a very reasonable price. Check out the Sunday markets for fresh fruit and vegetables. Short bus ride to Bamabarakanda Falls (Kaluphana Junction and 3 Wheeler from there) was a superb highlight. Priyantha and Manju provide an excellent home and base to explore the region.

Very Bad Experience

A very unpleasant experience. I have reserved this room. I booked this hotel because it is beautiful according to the photos. But when I went to this hotel, I am a Sri Lankan and refused to give the room that I had reserved. I was very embarrassed because I went late in the evening. I couldn't even find a good place. Do not book such places. Ruined our whole trip. Can't recommend this place at all.

Nice place to stay near by haputale city and also cool chilling climet arround you with good hospitality services with family friendly place for all af travelers.Easy to access for haputale to bamdarawepa road.

Nice stay in Haputale

Nice stay in a nice family, with a baby girl and a teenage boy. Our host explained us how to get to different hikes and arranged a tuk tuk for us. Our room, with balcony, was clean and very bright with an amazing view on the mountains. So relaxing after a day of walk. It’s just outside town so you’re still close and in the meantime it is quieter. The tea they serve is really good. It is just a bit noisy as the road passes downstairs and also the WiFi connexion isn’t great.

Clean and big room, helpful owner

I stay this hotel a day. The owner and the family very helpful. He did my car park by himself too. The room is big and clean. I like a balcony which gives a panorama view. Its nice to have a good hot water shower.. hotel is just 10 minutes drive from Bandarawela town.
