Stunning views and a beautiful stay in the hills above Kandy

Fox Kandy is a gorgeous hotel in a fantastic setting, slightly away from central Kandy and tucked up in the hills, with absolutely stunning views across the surrounding landscape.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and very well presented, and the hotel overall had a really lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
It is a great choice if you want to be close enough to visit Kandy while staying somewhere quieter and more scenic away from the bustle of the city.
We would definitely recommend Fox Kandy and would happily stay again!

Nice hotel! Very kind and helpful staff!
The hotel is located far up in the mountain. It does not take 4 minutes down to kandy lake as it says on the advertisement it took us 20-25 minutes. We also had trouble with car and tuktuks not being able to drive all the way up there because the road is so steep, narrow and winding.
The food in the restaurant at the hotel was average. The message we got from the hotel before checking in said they could not sell alcohol because they were in the process of obtaining liquor license. This information is not up to date as we were able to buy alcohol.

Amazing Stay at Fox Kandy

I had a wonderful stay at Fox Kandy. The property has a beautiful view and is a perfect place to escape from busy everyday life and enjoy Sri Lankan culture, heritage, and nature.
The rooms were very comfortable, with a cozy bed and exceptionally clean bathrooms. The food was delicious, and the overall service was excellent.
A special thank you to Dhammika and Sujivi for their kind support and wonderful hospitality. The housekeeping team, Raviendra and Yashan, did an amazing job and made sure everything was clean and comfortable throughout our stay.
At the restaurant, Malan, Sanjaya, and Sasini were extremely friendly, attentive, and supportive, making every meal even more enjoyable.
Fox Kandy is a beautiful and peaceful getaway with lovely surroundings, great food, comfortable rooms, and a genuinely caring team. Highly recommended for anyone looking to rela.x and experience the beauty of Sri Lank

The hotel fox was very good

The view was amazing at the rooms and also the restaurant and the room was clean.The hotel was located in a hill with a beautiful view.The service was good too.

Recommend for families and couples

Room was very cleaned and the view was superb. We loved the stay. Also the dinner and the breakfast was really worth for the money you spent. Specially the service from Marlon Lahiru Amitha from the restaurant was really good. Also the person who guid us at the lobby was a nice person too.
Overall I will recommend whoever needs a nice and friendly atmosphere with a Mountain View…
