Excellent

Our stay at Swiss Residency was the best accommodation experience we had during our trip to Sri Lanka. From the moment we met the manager, Sujeet, he made sure everything was well taken care of and that our stay was comfortable. The hospitality, attention to detail, and service were excellent. The food was also amazing, with great taste and quality. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciated the warm welcome and effort from the entire team.

Nothing special

Hotel half abandoned, pool without grout between the tiles so you cut your feet, a bottle of water was charged to us even though we did not order it, and the price of the water bottles is extremely expensive.
However, the person who runs the small shop is very friendly and the shop's prices are fair (you should always try to negotiate a price in all shops).

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Great experience, lovely staff with nice energy. They were so helpful and caring. The food was very good, and there was a live musik band playing under the dinner and that was amazing!

One of the worst experience

Absolutely one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a wedding venue.
We attended a family wedding at Suisse Residence expecting a properly organized and professional event, but the entire function was a complete mess from beginning to end. Lunch was delayed for a long time, guests were left waiting without any proper communication, and the service was shockingly poor.
The staff appeared totally untrained and disorganized. We had to repeatedly ask five or six times even for a simple glass of water. Used plates remained on the tables for a long time with nobody bothering to clear them. When guests asked for hand washing arrangements, the response was simply to point towards the washrooms. That clearly showed the level of care and hospitality provided.
A wedding is a once in a lifetime occasion for families, and sadly the poor management and terrible service at this venue ruined the experience for many guests. It was embarrassing, frustrating, and extremely disappointing.
Based on this experience, I would never visit Suisse Residence again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone looking for a quality event venue.
