Very calm & friendly place

Super friendly staff which also treated good for local guests. Clean rooms and very calm place. Great rooftop area to have drink & enjoy with your friends. Doors area always open, so need hassle to enjoy the nightlife in beach. Will definitely go again.

Best place in Sri Lanka!

Everything about this place is amazing! It's in Hiriketiya which is the best beach "town" in Sri Lanka! Abinu''s Place is 5 min. walk from Hiriketiya Beach, 5 min. from Dikwella Beach - and 2 min. from REALLY cheap and good local restaurants!
It's got two dorms in the too floor with a rooftop and little kitchen which is a perfect area to socialize and also to survive the heat with the really nice breeze and to cut up and eat some of the amazing local fruits!
I love that's it's such a small place, the vibe is so good and I met some amazing people there!
And last but definitely not least Dineshka (the owner) is such a sweetheart! She's so so so amazing!! She also took me to a local Zumba class which was so much fun, if she offers you please go!!
Can't wait to return one day❤️

Awesome place

Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 people, very clean place within walking distance of the beach with good WiFi and a really nice breakfast in the morning! The owner is also really helpful and kind and there is a possibility to order reasonable priced food. Would definitely come here again!

A home away from home

Stayed for 5 nights in the dorms, on high recommendation from another backpacker. So glad we did Dineshka made us feel so welcome and at home from the start it was amazing, I am so sad to leave. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, The rooftop balcony was perfect for hanging out, and the location is perfect between hiritekiya beach and dikwella. Also the Sri Lankan breakfast (not included but well worth it) is undoubtably the best we had all trip, so much home cooked food. Honestly can't speak highly enough of this place, can't fault it.♥️

Amazing Hostel

By far one of the cleanest hostels I have ever seen in Sri Lanka. It has 2 dorms with 4 bunk beds (8 in total). 2 roomy communal bathrooms, plus an open lounge area for the dorm rooms at the top with an open kitchen. It is situated in close proximity to 2 sprawling beaches in Hiriketiya which happens to be one of the best beach towns in Sri Lanka too. The owner and proprietor of the place was very welcoming and I plan to visit them again when am back in Sri Lanka.
