They are perfect!!!

I write to an Israeli audience, who is looking for a quiet, pleasant place, amazing landmarks, charming owners, a private and quiet beach....
This is a Sri Lankan couple whose husband was a chef in Japan for about 14 years and then they returned and opened a small hotel (very modest rooms, of course the price too) with a perfect beach restaurant, a wide range of dishes including of course a rich and glamorous Japanese menu, a rare pub, a restaurant that hosts every evening many dozens of tourists, a vibrant place along with a perfect location, not in the mess of all surfers, a walk away (or the best bicycle rented) from the city center and shops, just a great and recommended experience
Tell Cholica, the machine, of course, leaves us that you got the speaker at Trip Advisors and she'll fly over you.

Best restaurant in Weligama!

Very good restaurant with tasty food!!
Really enjoyed from the waiters, they are very kind and nice.
I’m recommend come here hungry!

Shame on you

My wife and I are both senior citizens and planned our trip to Sri Lanka carefully and we'll in advance to prevent unnecessary upsets. We didn't think that a hotel would contact us just a matter of a few days before we were due to stay there and tell us that they were full and could not longer honour our confirmed booking. This has been extremely upsetting and has thrown all our travels plans out the window as we scramble to find somewhere to stay. Latheena on the other hand show no concern and simply ignore any messages sent and don't seem to care if we have to sleep on the beach. I would not book with this hotel.

Great place for a good meal or cold beer

We didn't stay at the resort but we did eat there most mornings and in the evenings. The food was sensational the service from the wait staff was first class,the prices were good for such a top spot. They do take card but you pay a % . Not all resorts do that.

Best place to enjoy delicious food and relax on the beach

We came here expecting an average experience like most other budget friendly places but we were blown away. The rooms were clean and spacious and were very peaceful for our stay. The resort is right infront of the beach with easy access. The restaurant is located right adjacent to the sandy beach and we were surprised as to how delicious the food was. We had a delicious Sri Lankan crab curry and it was the best crab curry i've had in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend staying in this place.
