Scenic Bay Hotel

Great rooftop bar with good breakfast.Late check out is also possible. Next door is a scooter rental, so you can quickly and cheaply get to all beaches in the area

Good, rooms are spacious and our balcony had a fabulous view.

Nice quiet location - lovely areas in the lounge area and the breakfasts were amazing! Fantastic chef, quality food and presentation!

Highly Recommend

Really enjoyed my stay here, ended up extending to stay a full week. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is kind and the food on the rooftop cafe is some of the best in the area. Special thanks to the owner Hirushan, enjoyed having morning coffee with him. Best wishes.

Beautiful rest!

I travel on my own and I looked for a hotel based on reviews. I'm really glad I chose Scenic bay weligama.
1.I was very well received, quickly checked in, even upgraded room category (for this special thanks Hirushan, I understand it is their supervisor)
2.breakfasts are varied and very delicious
3. Thank you Deshan for wanting to help at any time of day, great mood
4. The hotel is 2 minutes from the ocean, but I went to the beach away, near the Marriott Hotel
5. The beach is beautiful, a good place to surf, lively, energetic, lots of cafes, shops, fresh fish and seafood sold right on the beach and immediately you can ask them to cook
6. It's not the first time I've been to Sri Lanka, I like everything.
Minus one - no one spent the day of departure, dragged the suitcase from the 3rd floor herself, had no breakfast with me, although I warned in advance that I was leaving at 6am and Deshan promised to prepare everything. The whole hotel was asleep, I just left the key on the counter and left.

Our stay at Scenic Bay Weligama was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that truly made us feel at home.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of surfing and exploring.
The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and close to great cafes and restaurants, yet still peaceful and quiet.
