VALUE FOR MONEY GOOD PLACE FRIENDLY STAFF TASTY FOOD GOOD VIEW PEACEFULL PLEACE

WE VIST TO VICTORY IN MONARAGALA WE HAD A GOOD LUNCH HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAI SEA FOOD RICE AND VICTORY SALAD,FRIENDLY STAFF HAVE TO ENJOY IN THIS PLACE,AND GOOD CLEAN AND HIGHINICK WASH ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN,AND THEIR ARE HAVE GOOD SWEET ROOM AND GOOD VIEW THEY ARE HAVE TO ENJOY,FRIENDLY STAFF,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Best place for stay in monaragala.

Customer friendly staff. Tasty foods. Specially Mix rice and nice clean rooms. Bery close to monaragala city center. Definitely we will comeback again.

Run down rooms

Run down rooms, noisy air conditioners that don't work, water pressure and hot water issues, small beds and a seedy tavern on the hotel premises. There's a bar in the hotel too which too is quite filthy. No lifts. two to three floors to climb to get to the rooms

Oh dear, best skip this one

I knew not to expect luxury in this neck of the woods and also the price was very cheap. The rooms were very basic, not particularly clean and mine had cockroaches which was unfortunate. I didn;t touch the breakfast buffet as I just couldn't bring myself to. For me, the whole place had an icky feel to it which was a shame.

Better Avoid

On the outset the hotel looked a very good deal, given the price and the details available on their website. However once we got to the location it was a totally different story. The rooms were basic and comfortable, the food was the good and service was very friendly. But something didn't feel right and we felt queasy during our stay there.
The main issue would be that the staff quarters are right next to the rooms. Its better not to sleep alone as the staff tend to "go for walks" at night. The hotel is also very close to the main road which is very busy from 4am to 9pm. The restaurant is also quite popular with functions so its difficult for stay in guests to relax and enjoy. The service is also very subjective to the amount you spend on food and how generously you tip.
Though my title says "better avoid" i'm unable to suggest an alternate location, but I advise you to try out other locations.
