in need of renovation and very dirty.

Short review:
The hotel is in great need of renovation and very dirty – dust, dirt and hair everywhere. Bathroom and room were not thoroughly cleaned, breakfast loveless and partly from the previous day. Card payment was not possible, only cash. For 35 € per person per night absolutely not recommended. The positive recommendation on Booking.com is a boldness and does not reflect reality at all.

A Welcoming Stay with Big Rooms

I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were impressively spacious, giving plenty of comfort and relaxation. Another big plus is the location—it’s conveniently close to both the airport and the beach, which made getting around so easy. Overall, it’s a great place to stay whether you’re traveling for leisure or just need a comfortable stopover. Highly recommended!

let down.

After having this hotel booked and confirmed through Agoda for 7 months was most surprised to get a message while transiting in Doha from the hotel asking to confirm our booking which I did by return email. On arrival in Colombo got another message saying due to Agoda not confirming our booking there was no room at the hotel, and they would transfer us to their other property. When we arrived at the hotel they did take us to the other hotel as they said, we stayed there for two nights, looking at the photos of 8plus motel and where we got transferred to I think the replacement hotel was not the same standard, as we were only staying two nights at the start of a four-week holiday we decided to put up with the alternative accommodation and not get annoyed and not let it taint our holiday. Personally, I think they had overbooked and that's why they moved us, I have booked dozens of hotels through Agoda and never had a problem with them.
