Perfect stopover hotel

I stayed at this hotel at the start and at the end of my holiday in Sri Lanka. Very convenient to and from the airport, a short tuk tuk ride away. The location is beautiful by the lagoon and the included breakfast is served every morning with a view of the water. The room was spacious and clean and so was the bathroom. Being so close to the water is only natural that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening so having a repellent is highly recommended.
The facilities might be basic and an extension is currently being built but given the location and the friendliness of everyone working there I would definitely stay there again on future visits to Negombo.

Guest house near airport

Simple guest house with beautiful views over the lagoon. Very clean room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast included.

Disappointed by poor cleaning

Unfortunately our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The cleaning really left something to be desired: the floors were visibly dirty, as if they had not been cleaned for days. But the worst thing was to find bubble bath packs in the bathroom already opened and clearly used by other previous guests, a detail absolutely unacceptable for any accommodation facility.
We were very impressed by the level of neglect and would not recommend this hotel, at least until more attention is paid to hygiene and care of the rooms.

The room is clean with refurnished toilet. There could be a proper blanket instead of a cover sheet though its not cold. The hotel has a WhatsApp channel for fast and easy communication

Great overnight stop

This is a nice budget hotel close to the airport and it was great for our first night in SriLanka before heading off on our tour. The rooms are basic but clean with a good shower room. It is on the lagoon and the view in the morning is great. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance and we chose to eat at the place next door, which is basically a jetty jutting out into the lagoon, and we had a lovely plate of rice and shrimps.
