Quiet hidden gem

Great little quiet hidden gem, 3km from airport. Family run bed and breakfast. Very clean and beds were super comfortable. Owner will pick you up from airport for usd $5. It is relatively new so all the furnishing are in great condition.
Would definitely stay here again.

Transit Hotel very near Colombo Airport

Spent one night here after long flight from the UK. Budget no frills Hotel. Room well decorated, exceptional modern bathroom and shower. Very clean. New aircon. Basic breakfast if you want it. Room a little dark as window was covered. But didn't bother us much. A few small shops 5 minutes away for provisions. Apart from breakfast no other refreshment available here. (tip) should be on another forum but couldn't find to post) If you are transiting through any Indian Airports, all vaping devices and liquids will be confiscated, even though you are in transit, they are prohibited in India. Vaping is allowed in Sri lanka for tourists but only a few shops in Negombo and Colombo stock the products. They are extremely expensive compared to the UK. Smoking no problem.

Good option close to airport

This is a good option for staying close to the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived quite late, after midnight, but they were still there to greet us and make us feel comfortable! It was perfect for our needs: easy access to the airport and a comfortable place to sleep at night.

Family First

My wife picked out this spot after reading about it in Trip Advisor. The villa is close to the airport and Chrishanthe (proprietor) was waiting at the airport for us despite our late arrival. We had booked a driver plus car to pick us up at 10.30 next day & take us around to see the destinations we had picked. At 11 o'clock & unanswered phone calls by Chrishantha we were becoming concerned. No problem, Chrishantha arranged for his nephew Thari (Travel Sri Lanka with Thari) to do the job. We enjoyed the 8 day tour with Thari for a very reasonable price. Thari was a lovely young man with great knowledge of the institutions, reserves and so on. He was a great driver too. Back to the villa - we gave it 5 stars, not for its chandeliers & polished silverware, but for its simple elegance & most importantly the really friendly service & treatment we received. It is a family owned & run villa & it shows. We returned to SLNCO villa the night before we returned home & it was really like returning to old friends.
I know they have big plans to improve the villa but I would recommend a stay for everyone that likes informal & refreshingly genuine service sans chandeliers.

Very nice !

Nice room, very nice breakfast, staff is a family and are very kind. There were very helpful for visiting Negombo !
Very near the airport so good for transfert and take the plane.
So you can definitely take a room !
