Excellent Stay at The Chapter Cabana

We had a wonderful stay at The Chapter Cabana Nuwara Eliya. The property is beautifully maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The cabana was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with a bath tub, making our stay very relaxing.
We booked on BB basis and we ordered English Breakfast for me and my wife. there is a Sri Lankan breakfast option as well. It was delicious and they give you a platter of tropical fruits.
It’s just one bedroom cabana and it’s ideal for a couple who want to have their privacy. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend for honeymooners.

A Truly Special Stay at Chapter Cabana

We had a wonderful stay at "The Chapter". From the moment we arrived, Pahan (The Owner of the Property) was incredibly welcoming, humble, and attentive to every little detail to make sure we had a comfortable experience. The staff were also very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The place itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The view of the iconic single tree from the cabana is truly special and adds to the charm of the location. The property is extremely clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The beautiful bathtub was a lovely touch and the perfect place to relax while enjoying the calm surroundings.
The food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the BBQ dinner in the evening. Every part of the stay felt relaxing and memorable.
We truly enjoyed our time at Chapter and hope to return again.

Beware of the fraudster masquerading as the manager.

I am surprised that this establishment is classified as a hotel... it is a one room guest house with no reception, no bar and no restaurant. We asked the manager (the only person on the premises) if he could provide a bottle of wine for which we gave him the equivalent of 30 UK pounds as we had nothing smaller. He returned with the wine and food (which had obviously not been cooked on the premises despie his insistence that it had) but when asked for the change said he had lost his purse and was unable to return the money!
The following day I informed our driver and tour guides, both of whom said this was a fraudulent trick which they had witnessed many times previously in Sri Lanka. They were disgusted that this man had brought the good name of Sri Lanka into shame.
