Central location

Nice, basic hotel. Central location with parking. Nice staff to help solve things. Comfortable beds.

Medium hotels

Basic hotel, pretty small rooms. Unfortunately, the beds were far too soft and felt worn.
We had booked a golf package with a 2-course dinner included. The staff working on the day of arrival appeared uncertain and somewhat confused. They didn't know for sure what was involved. But it worked out in the end. Felt like it was summer workers, not regular staff. Not very well-stocked breakfast, but the main thing was there. The summing up is that it is a perfectly ok hotel, but max in middle class.

Stayed 1 night here.
Room ok, but on far near as large as it says in the room description.
The bathroom is not completely clean, including some residues of something sticky / glue on the dolock.

This is a hotel that is not near approximately up to the standard for a nice accommodation. The recommendation is: Steer away. The restaurant is not open on Sundays in the middle of the summer season in a small town attracted by the nearest wine monopoly at the border with Norway. The restaurant floor had a carpet featuring guests who spilled all kinds of food. The carpet should be replaced with wooden or tiled floors. For breakfast, the egghouse was almost liquid. Two varieties of ham were about to go out on date, they were sour. Various jam in glasses were almost empty with pork spoons. There was no orange juice or fat-free milk. The receptionist did not know where electric cars could be charged. Our room was tired and the chairs were simply dirty. TV had only Swedish channels. The bathroom was ice cold and the toilet was running continuously until we understood the ***** with stopping the water crane. This will unfortunately be our last stay in Årjeng - we can drive to Karlstad or stay on the Norwegian side of the border.
