Great value, clean and convenient

The room was clean and quiet, and the affordable parking (in garage) was a definite plus. Payment without swedish tlf number was challenging though. The location is convenient, with the town center only a short walk away. There’s also an ICA nearby.
The self-service setup makes arriving and getting into your room quick and straightforward, with no traditional check-in required. That said, the lack of an on-site reception or visible staff makes the experience feel somewhat impersonal. Maybe they should not call themselves a hotel. The breakfast was minimal but okay.

Cheap, fresh but sleepless

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good and cheap parking facilities. Short walk to the center. Both ica and a fantastic French restaurant in the neighboring house. Smooth accommodation – just slip into your room without having to check in. But the complete lack of a reception or any kind of active management. Just phone contact with some kind of "contact person" who seemed to have several places on his list. The ventilation was misaligned and created sandpaper dry air in the room. We slept abysmally because we woke up again and again completely dehydrated in the throat. Thin, cheap pillows and duvets.

A joke!

No one answers when you try to reach them. Runs away is cold and the covers a joke. I’m now lying with my clothes on, under the duvet which is thin as a sheet with the towel and my jacket over it. May go out in the car if it gets too cold.
Spend the money on something better!

Budget options

Relatively new hotel in Gävle. If you are just looking for a bed for the night this is perfect. Located in a still quite sleeping part of town. But in 5-10 minutes you'll be downtown.
Sometimes unmanned and the Swedish skills of the staff I met were inadequate. No sumptuous breakfast but there was no problem with getting full.
