Great hotel for exploring Gothenburg.

The hotel is ideally situated just a 20 minute walk from Central Station and within easy reach of many of the main attractions. The nearby Kungsparken provides a cool, relaxing environment at the end of a hot summer's day. There are several good restaurants nearby, some of which were recommended by the helpful reception staff.
Our room overlooked a quiet courtyard and was very clean, comfortable and well serviced each day. The buffet breakfast provided a variety of choice including hot and cold dishes. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Overall the hotel offers good value for money and we would certainly book again if returning to Gothenburg.

Hotel Poseidon is a beautiful historic building just steps away from the beautiful Baptist church typical of the splendid architecture of central Gothenburg. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding, and the coffee in the lobby was especially nice.

Fantastic full tasty breakfast, lots of gluten free options. Best Swedish coffee. Wonderful staff. Comfy bed. Clean smell. Perfect location for old town Haga district. Hanas, hotel owner, and staff so very helpful. See you again in a year or two Hanas!
