Lovely views and superbly clean and comfortable

We were on the 9th floor with a view out over the water which we loved - we stayed 3 nights and had fantastic sunsets. (It was definitley worth paying more for a room with a view, but be aware that the photos only show the penthouse with view, the windows are smaller in the more ordinary rooms.
It was spotlessly clean - quite a task to maintain this with all the glass in the room - internal doors, sinks, etc - and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the location near to Stenpiren boat, tram and bus stops and the large canal was perfect. Pretty much everywhere was walkable.
We enjoyed one meal in the restaurant which was of a very high standard, though unfortunately the sun was so bright, the blinds were down and we were therefore unable to appreciate the view from the top!

Good service in a perfect location

Location right on the Göta River (Götaälven). Rooms with a view of the river are recommended. Very good restaurant on the top floor with views over Gothenburg in all directions. Private parking garage available, good room amenities.

Nice hotel and Great restaurant

We were there for the second time, and we will come back. The staff is really nice and service minded. We had a deluxe room on the 6th floor with great view.
I would have been nice though if access to the pool were included, or at least cheaper for the hotel guests.
The restaurant is really good and the view is fabulous.

Confort and spectacular view in Gothenburg.

Totally renovated, this hotel is convenient for position and view.
Very good breakfast and a modern well equipped spa.
Very clean and cost effettive.
Maybe some more decorations in the rooms. The bed was confortable. No International channels on TV .
To be visited again, a good choice for tourist staying in Gothenburg.

Disappointing Spa Experience at Hotel Riverton

Unfortunately, our visit to the spa was very disappointing.
The aromatherapy room and the Hammam were not turned on when we arrived, and we had to try to start them ourselves. If you market a facility as a Hammam, guests should also be provided with essentials such as salt or other traditional Hammam elements. Otherwise, it is simply a steam bath, assuming it is even operational.
The aromatherapy room was equally disappointing. It was not turned on, and there was no aroma at all. While one of the staff members was replenishing towels, we asked for assistance. Initially, she told us to go to the reception ourselves, despite the fact that we were already in wet swimwear. After further discussion, she agreed to contact reception on our behalf, but nothing happened.
The facilities did not match the description, and the lack of service made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, it was a very disappointing spa visit and not what we expected - pool and sauna had been a better description. Not worth the money at all.

Our saunas are on stand-by mode when not in use, accoding to EU regulations. To start it, you simply press the button by the outside. We are sorry if this was not clearly communicated.
We also appriciatie your feedback regarding the Hammam and the use of salt or other traditional Hammam elements.
