The truth

Good location near the water and cottages in pretty good condition. But the whole area could use lots of love and renovation.
1. The water next to the cottages is so full of algae and the like that it is disgusting to swim there.
2. The tennis court is full of weeds and cracks and the fence is broken.
3. The water in the cottages can not be drunk because of too much lime.
4. The hot water in the showers runs out quickly so only 1 person has time to shower before all the hot water is gone.
5. Bikes, toys and tennis rackets that can be borrowed are too old and need to be replaced.
6. There is a football field but the goals are broken in the nets.
7. The restaurant does good food but the patio is poorly equipped and needs renovation.
8. The cable car broke down while we were there.
9. Small cabins.
10. Small TV.
The only good thing about Kauniainen’s Leisure Village is actually the location, close to trouser hook, go-kart and long erik, the troll forest. But beyond that, I would not recommend this.

Beautiful but with compromises

Upon arrival we found a welcome letter at the reception with our house number and directions to it. We could park very close to our cottage. The cottage corresponded to the pictures and descriptions on the Internet. It was cozy and functionally furnished. However, we didn't like the bathroom as it was very spartanly decorated, there was no shelf space and when showering the whole room was flooded. The tap water was very calcareous but according to . Description not objectionable. On departure the cottage is to be cleaned itself - unless you pay a (quite high) fee for it. You should not have spider phobia, as in the evening some small and large spiders abseil from the ventilation in the bathroom and crawl out in front of the sofa and out of the light shafts...
There is a washing machine in the resort - but the use is very expensive. The resort had a playground and playground equipment for children. The beach was within walking distance. We did not go into the water as there were a lot of jellyfish. The nearest supermarket / restaurant could be reached in a few minutes by car. The place itself we did not find particularly worth seeing. Unfortunately, many stores were already closed by mid-August.

Sedan fungerade inte 4:an.
