A lovely high-quality b&b that can be warmly recommended
We were warmly welcomed by owner Lotta, who was qenuinely attentive without being pushy, a skill much appreciated in hospitality business. Our spacious room with fantastic views in a converted barn building was simple and elegant and everything in it was thought over.
The surrounding countryside was absolutely beautiful and perfect for cyckling by bikes provided by Lotta. Many good restaurants were within a driving distance.
An icing on the cake were delicious and beautifully displayed breakfasts with fresh, local products.
A stay worth every penny, a happy stay that can be warmly recommended. Six stars out of five.

A real gem in the heart of Österlen
Lotta informed us about everything that could be done in the surroundings and the first evening we took a walk to Glimmingehus right next door.
This B&B is something out of the ordinary, it is more hotel standard.
Spacious and well-maintained rooms with their own patio overlooking the Scanian landscape.
The breakfast was far above what we were used to from other B&Bs.
If you want to experience Österlen, this is the place I can warmly recommend.
We will definitely stay at Glivarpagården if we visit Österlen again.

Peaceful accommodation
Very nice owners who made you feel welcome. Shares tips on what to do around Österlen, tourist brochures are available.
Breakfast with home-baked bread and home-cooked marmalade, fresh berries, etc. Missed nothing! There is a common terrace where you can sit and eat your breakfast.
Loan bikes are available.
Takes less than 10 minutes by car to Skillinge, where there are a couple of restaurants to choose from.
Highly recommend Glivarpagården! We will come back next time we go to Österlen!

Surpassed our expectations
The hosts were friendly, cheerful, helpful and professional. Due to the hosts' passion for food the breakfast was delicious! Every morning the freshly baked bread could be enjoyed with home made herring salad and marinated salmon, or with local produced meats preferably organic. They also serve home made marmelades and juice. Every new guest was informed of the background of the different foods by the enthusiastic host.
Our room was simply furnished and clean, fresh, delicate and the beds very comfortable. The en suite bathroom was also simple but immaculate and cleat. The room was on the ground floor with a private terrace overlooking the beautiful, calming and rolling Österlän landscape. We could also enjoy viewing Glimmingehus in the distance, an intact fort/home build by an influential and rich man during the middle ages. Definetely worth a visit.
The B&B is in a quiet area with hardly any noise from the local road. It is also located close to several towns and places of interests. Our hosts know the area well and have many suggestions as to where to visit and to eat.
It is difficult to say what we liked the best, but the spirit of the place caused by our hosts made our stay so much more than "just" staying at a comfortable and clean B&B. We had fun, relaxed and the atmosphere invited to connect with other guests when it felt appropriate. What we liked the least was leaving! We will definitely return.
