Small gem - highly recommended!
Personal and nice reception and helpful when we arrived late, but that solved Scrooge. Fresh rooms and nicely decorated, we actually had a view of the beautiful lake. Very good breakfast and nice dining room to start the day in. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We would love to come back!

Lunch with good tastes in a nice environment.
Lunch with fine local ingredients, cooked with a feeling! Unfortunately we had booked the hotel next door that did not serve lunch, and it was lucky that we got to experience Smålandsgårdens food! Really nice reception and a nice summer porch with beautiful views, harmonious and well worth a visit!

Peace and tranquillity abounds
Our room, although rather small but comfortable, had a great view over the lake. Breakfast was adequate and unrushed. Evening dinner was very good, offering an interesting menu with a broad selection of drinks including beers and ciders. We stayed 3 nights and during our stay we visited much of the local area. Hence, the location was ideal for us.
Special thanks goes to David who helped us with getting to know the menu and drinks, and with some recommendations of where to go for sight seeing. Good luck with your work and improvement plans!

Hidden gem
The rooms were very fresh, comfortable beds.
The environment is absolutely fantastic. Located right by a lake. There is a wood-burning sauna and hot tub.
The service is 10/10. The staff is very service minded and very concerned about their guests.
The food is generally very well prepared.

The walls have ears!
The manager was however very pleasant and kindly explained that no compensation for a snoring neighbour could be awarded.
