Beautiful and original place, wonderful host

We visited Våffelcafe on our way from Denmark to Stockholm. This place surely is worth the little detour from the main road. The place is a beautiful wooden former school dating back at least 100 years. The cafe is located downstairs and the rooms upstairs. There is plenty of parking space next to the building. The upstairs was nicely renovated keeping the old wooden doors and floors, but still offering modern necessities like a toilet and a shower.
We got a good nights of sleep in the comfy beds and absolute peace and quietness. We met the host Anna in the morning. She had prepared a nice breakfast and also made us waffles as the place is called Våffelcafe.
Definitely could have stayed longer, but we needed to be on our way. Would definitely come back again!

Härligt BnB/Våffelcafé

Härligt BnB med mycket trevlig personal o fräscht o mysigt boende i en gammal skola. Stort luftigt rum med gemensamt sällskapsrum med kyl matbord och tv-häng. Bra frukost och som avslutning fick vi nygräddade våfflor. Blev en perfekt mellanlandning på en lite längre resa bara en avstickare från E4-an. Kan varmt rekommenderas.

Över förväntan

Mycket trevligt vandrarhem . Bästa ställer vi bodde på under semestern . Stora rum , trevlig utomhusmiljö med stor gård , lekplats för barnen på baksidan. Skönas sängar .
Och totalt tystnad i utomhusmiljön .

Mycket bra och trevligt

Mysigt och fräscht. Vi bara åt men var mer än nöjda, proppmätta när vi åkte därifrån. Schysta priser och trevligt bemötande. Bra lunchmat och väldigt spännande våfflor. Goda och stora. Väl värt ett besök eller två.

Äkta småländskt café

Leende personal och ljuvligt goda räkmackor med handskalade räkor och egengjord dill majo. Kan även övernatta här. De serverar enkel men välsmakande svensk husmanskost i buffé stil. Gammal svensk/småländsk atmosfär! (något bibehållen gammal skolinredning)
