Fantastic place.

A really nice place right on the water. Nice and clean. Super nice staff and a really big plus is the bathhouse. There we could relax and swim without crowds and loud noises.
The food in the restaurant was great.
The room was very nice and spacious..

Room was not very clean unfortunately. There were dust and pieces of papers on the floor. The food options in the restaurants in limited. The people working in there and very helpful and generous. We could change the spa time that we previously booked. That was very nice of them to allow us ear first and then join the spa later. Everything was good but there were no kettle in the room or refrigerator. One kettle would have been nice to drink tea or coffee. With the amount of price we paid for one night, usually there is tea or coffee in the room in Stockholm. I do regular night out in different locations for spa time. Thank you.

Very nice staff, good food but more suitable for course stay just like Rönneberga is meant for. More summer house.

Very nice staff, good food, nice environment but more adapted to the course stay. Missed the marine environment adjacent to the SPA facility. We brought champagne but for the first time (we often stay at SPA&hotell) you could not get glasses to the room but we were offered paper cups. Never happened in 15 years.
In the room there were small blue drinking glasses and at the SPA later in the evening there were plastic wine glasses when we shopped in the bar. Unfortunately we were not offered plastic wine glasses, would have worked in case of emergency. The champagne got to go home this time.

The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said the hotel will not refund the reservation money,.even though we explained the problem within minutes of making the reservation. Beware.

Wonderful recreation 20 min from Stockholm City.

A fantastic place right next to the capital, but with an idyllic and rural location. Good food, nice bathhouse and nice staff made the stay a lovely experience. The resort had kept its 60's feel in furniture and art and we will definitely go there again.
