Motorhome trip to Linköping
Great location close to the city centre. About 4 km by bike, on a well-developed and marked cycle path. Good service offers at the campsite. For NOK 320, we got both electricity and a shower included in the pitch. Washing machine and dryer available. Great toilet facilities. Source sorting of waste. Well arranged

First Camp Glyttinge, not a first choice.
Glyttinge is a really nice camping. Got good space for our big tent. Check-in went fine.
Sanitary facilities are worn and old. Still fine cleaning. Located on top of the camp. Dumping, on the other hand, missed it. Overcrowded dunk. Not good.
If you like a quiet place, do not book places on the left side up from the front desk. The train passes about every half an hour. Otherwise a nice quiet camp.

Boring place, not for children
They have absolutely nothing for children at the campsite. Do not come here with kids. Not even a basic playground. No dishwashers in the kitchen. 2 ovens with only 1 oven tray. Boring place. When we arrived there was nobody at the reception. Needed to wait 15min for somepne to arrive to check in. Even after calling the number on the door.

Customer unfriendly and inflexible organization.
On the 15 to the 16 May 2024 I stayed one night at this campsite, there I had to pay 375 SEK for a tent with electricity. I thought it was a lot but only had one experience a day before with a Swedish campsite for 300 SEK so I didn't know what was fair! On my return trip I was also at a First Camp campsite near Malmö, there I paid 221 SEK. That seemed a more fair price for the same kind of place ( 1 person in a small car without a tent).
Because I thought it was strange and expensive, I sent First Camp an e-mail and asked for an explanation. They responded only after 11 days with this sentence:
"Our prices are dynamic, providing flexibility similar to that seen in the rail and airline industries. This means that prices are adjusted according to demand. To help you find the best prices, we have our Low Price Calendar, where you can explore our destinations with just your desired price ranges."
Then I took another look at Glyttinge Linköping's site myself and it showed that here too and place cost 221 SEK! Strange that I was then charged 357 SEK.
I sent an e-mail asking for a refund of what I thought was an overpayment. After 2 days I received the same answer as the first time???
In response to a third mail I received the answer that I accepted the booking.
So no compensation at all.
Unfortunately for me a bad experience with First Camp as an organization and the Glyttinge Linköping campsite.
WARNING for others:
PAY ATTENTION WHEN REGISTERING OR BOOKING A FIRST CAMP!

Asked specifically if it was really cleaned. "Yes" they said at the reception. When we come in, we are greeted by crap on the hall carpet. Bread knife, cheese grater missing. The baking sheet had old fries stuck to it.
The beds had ONE very thin pillow. There were no fire alarms. The cottage we rented was supposed to be for 6 people... but the sofa bed? or whatever it was... didn't have a pull out feature and there was no comforter or pillow for it.
The cabin was not equipped with crockery for 6 people. and extra plastic bags for rubbish were not in the cabin either.
With very few measures, we would have been so satisfied.
We addressed some of our negative reflections, but only received a reply that it was recorded. No apology or in any way help us. Well, of course... we were given 3 baking sheets to put on the dirty baking sheet. But otherwise nothing.
It would have been so easy to create a better experience for the customer. Upgrade things that break later (e.g. crockery, fire alarm, bread knife) Do a check every time a guest checks out. As it is now I don't think everything is checked after check out.
Other than that, I think the cabin was well planned and I thought it was great to have 2 bedrooms and to avoid bunk beds. Also liked that there was outdoor seating.
