Great Hotel!

We had a large suite that looks just like on their website with a separate living room, two person jetted bathtub and a private sauna. There is something called “air cooling” in the rooms but thankfully it did not get very hot. The breakfast is very good and has vegan cream cheese, and vegan sliced cheese as well as nondairy milk and yogurt options. The dinner has vegetable side dishes and a vegan option on request such as lentil stew or felafel or pasta. Shout out to the excellent chef Fillippa! Situated at the edge of the pedestrian shopping area and easy access to tourist spots.

Terrible! So dirty and ingrained with thick layers of dust and old stained carpet and it smelled bad. We had also asked for a room that the dog had not stayed in due to allergy. But it was just a request, nothing you could expect, we were told. When we had to change rooms to allergy rooms, there were several dogs in a corridor. Didn't work.
The only positive thing about this hotel was that when we checked out about 1/2 hour after we arrived we got a full refund. Thanks to the receptionist!
I really wonder about the positive reviews here on Tripadvisor. Were we in a parallel universe?

Totally okay

Good food, nice facilities and cozy hotel. Very fun to take part of everything with Abba and their history. However, the room smelled "wet dog" and heard more complaining about the smell. Now there was scaffolding by the room so do not know if it was something that was being fixed, and we did not talk to staff about it. Very warm in the room. But still cozy rooms and liked that it was radio running when you can into the room.

I booked this room 2 months ago, paid almost €400 aand I’m a frequent visitor at BestWestern and I’m a gold member in Hotels.com. Therefore I would have expected something better than a dark room in the basement with shower one level down. After this visit I can’t recommend BestWestern to anyone!
