The room was very spacious and included a kitchenette a well as a washing machine. Unfortunately, there was no rack available to hand up the washing that couldn't be tumble dried but lots of hangers.
The beds were really comfortable, the whole room clean apart from some water marks from the aircon.
The communal area was well equipped with tabletennis, billiard, darts, a footie table and boardgames available.
The pool was closed due to works being carried out but we didn't need it as the sea is only a short drive away.
Breakfast was really good, oddly, there was no butter but only margarine available. The scrambled egg was not out of a tetra pack but actual eggs were used. The staff was clearing the dishes swiftly but towards the end of the breakfast service, certain items were missing. Bread was reduced to crisp bread which was a bit unfortunate for guests who had a lie-in.
The garage can a bit tight, depending on the size of car and

Mediocre

- Mediocre rooms, dirty bed linen, dirty ceiling vents, dusty around bedside tables. No compensation when it was mentioned.
+ Nice staff in the restaurant, ok breakfast and ok buffet at dinner included in the price.

Very good

A fantastic hotel and I want to give a great gold star to Marika at the reception who really fixed and arranged it so well for us. Marika is worth gold and that's exactly how the staff should respond to the guest. I really recommend this hotel

It was midsummer weekend, so I want to give the benefit of the doubt that the hotel was probably understaffed and there was some confusion about room assignments, cleaning priorities, and communication between cleaning staff and reception. We had booked an executive family room two months before our stay, so for a four‑star hotel I expected our room to be ready on arrival. Instead, we were told to wait about 20 minutes because it was still being prepared. Ludwig offered us an “upgrade” to a room with a balcony, but since it faced the highway we declined and kept the room we had booked. After roughly 25 minutes, room 1009 was assigned to us. The room looked clean and the sheets were arranged, but the rubbish from previous guests was still there. A cleaner in the corridor confirmed she had not cleaned the room yet and wondered why it had been assigned to us; she asked us to wait another 15 minutes so she could finish. When we returned, I noticed that room 1009 did not have a mini‑fridge, which is standard for an executive family room, so Ludwig changed us to room 1005. This room suited us better and our child actually liked having his own room, which became a positive part of the stay. There was also confusion about the dinner buffet I had prepaid via Hotels.com. Reception initially did not see it in the system, but after I insisted and showed my receipt, Ludwig resolved it. The dinner buffet was okay, while the breakfast buffet was noticeably better in terms of variety.
