Amazingly friendly and service minded young man in charge of this small village hotel. Renovated rooms with comfy beds mixed with old time charm and homestyle breakfast. Will return next year!

Ghost hotels

Weird hotel. Ghost hotels.
Dark and locked when we get there.
No staff in sight o no guests.
One person manages everything even though this ghost hotel is 'fully occupied according to this person'
No sign saying Skänninge Stadshotell.
They want to be paid even though the booking already charged. We didn't fall for that.
We bought for breakfast which was the worst I've eaten. Rock hard bread and moldy cheese.
The only thing that was good was free parking and against all odds nice newly renovated room.
Don't live here. Not worth the price.

The breakfast is also a simple version of international bf - but does it’s job…

Front door locked. Had to call to get someone to open the door and check us in. Bar or restaurant never opened. Room was hot and nott very clean. Breakfast was terrible. Glad we only had to stay one night.
