Vad roligt att läsa att ni trivdes hos oss och uppskattade både hotellet och allt som finns att göra här. Det betyder mycket för oss att ni upplevde hotellet som rent, fräscht och välutrustat. This was our last time at this hotel for sure even though we got used to stay there regularly. Their cost cutting program is so visible now that it looks more like a budget hotel. The value for money is simply not there. We stayed for 5 nights and the room was cleaned only one time even after the tag was put on the door handle and additional request was made at the reception. They said they only clean regularly priority rooms. Not sure who gets those rooms - must be business customers. The problem is that nobody is picking up the garbage with food remains during hot temperature outside and no air conditioning inside. I complained at the reception as it started to smell badly and we got flyes in the room. It took 16 hours for them to pick the trash up after my complain. I even had to put it outside of the room which is insane. Next day - same story even when I asked to pick it up every day. The lady at the reception said they care about environment. :) I could not take it seriously. This is a 4 star expensive hotel. Bed mattress was very uncomfortable, super soft and does not provide proper support for the back. You sleep in a curved shape rather than having a flat mattress. Breakfast got much worse over the years. It seems like there are some choices but this is all cheap crap food and limited to bare minimum. We’ve got tired of it quickly after staying 5 nights. Warm food is super salty and all cereals are with sweeteners. No consideration for people who does not eat sugar.

Nothing that stands out
Impersonal room, small shower and bathroom with wet room wallpaper. The room was otherwise clean and fresh but not very in eyes falling and cozy. Clearly you have invested money on the entrance and the common areas when you enter the hotel but otherwise nothing special. Breakfast ok but nothing that stands out.

This is quite expensive 4 star hotel but the service and facility does not meet the expectations. Room is cleaned only once a week unless you ask for it. It was not clear to me and we stayed with trash bin full of garbage of food remains for 3 days when it was very hot weather, but nobody checked the room. Cleaning policy is not communicated during check in.
There is no air conditioning in the hotel and it was +28-30 degrees when we stayed. It was impossible to sleep. We tried to sleep with open window but outside traffic woke us up few times a night.
There is no fridge, no kettle in the room. You can’t make tea or coffee, can’t store small snacks keeping them cold.
Check in took 25 minutes even after online check in was done. Lady was on the phone and didn’t rush at all even when seeing line of people. Personel is not trained to check in guests explaining all the rules, etc.
Gym can inly be attended by adults 18+. My teenage son was asked to leave treadmill even when supervised by adult parents.
Room is not well maintained.
They are hiding behind their policies and environmental BS but it is a pure cost saving.
The only good thing about this hotel is breakfast and gym. But if you stay there 3 + 5 nights one after another, you will be tired of breakfast too because it is absolutely identical each day.
This hotel is not worth the money they ask for.

Well located, with an easy walk into town. Really helpful staff from start to finish. Interesting old building with great history.
