Wonderful weekend in late summer heat with refreshing sea dip :-)

A cozy place with lovely location by the sea. Great food (both breakfast and dinner), very nice and helpful staff, cozy rooms.

An excellent beach hotel!!

Very nice place. Nice rooms. Very friendly staff. Good food. Great location by the sea. A real beach hotel in other words! I/we can really recommend it. They have two rooms with balcony facing the sea. We usually take it with the largest balcony above the entrance.

Idyll at Kivik Strand Hotel

Fantastically cosy, tastefully decorated and atmospheric beach hotel. Operation and personal service in a special class. Location right by Kivik harbor and beach. The surrounding houses in the small town are also really nice. Can be recommended for the discerning.

Lovely classic beach hotel

Classic beach hotel with family/Pension feeling & perfect location by the pier with swimming ladders down into Hanö Bay. White robes on the way to and from their dip from morning to night gave that right feeling. Rooms are smaller than expected but quite OK.
Breakfast was top class with a mix of buffet and table service.
Even the restaurant is probably the best Kivik has to offer. Nice menu, well cooked, fast and nice service and fine wine selection. Unclear if the restaurant is only open for residents though, got the feeling.
Negative: The few parking spaces outside are public and also very popular with bathers.
