Family feeling

The hotel has a homely feel with its cozy environment and absolutely fantastic staff.
Breakfast has everything I want and in addition to the best waffles in the afternoon.
Top it off with well-cooked dinner.
Top class!
The rooms are not of the highest standard, but more than ok.

great hotel

we started our North Sweden trip with a few relaxed days to arrive and get a feel for the region.
great location in the center, everything within walking distance; in Umea we found a good mix of city amenities, art/culture, history and nature.
parking garage for an extra charge of 22 EUR/day; quite tight and at the same time practical, since free parking is not possible anywhere.
room: standard; beds and pillows comfortable; many hooks in the bathroom for hanging things, which is practical. shower gel & co. very fragrant and high quality.
staff friendly, very good service in the restaurant.
Breakfast: plentiful; large selection, nothing left to be desired; buffet is regularly replenished. Very cozy tableware; everything is calm and well-maintained.
Afternoons: waffles, small pastries, coffee included.
Evenings: 1 hot dish, appetizer soup, salad buffet, coffee/water included; other drinks for an extra charge. Food very delicious, is regularly replenished.
Hotel: very cozy; despite many rooms very quiet and familiar; sauna/fitness room included.
Conclusion: the deciding factor for the booking was the dinner; we felt very comfortable overall.

Very good place to stay in Umeå

In the centre of Umeå. Superb service, receptionists and service. Breakfast, fika and dinner included. Soup every day for dinner. Can't be better. Charming city and hotel with soul. We'd love to come back.

Satisfied stay

We came without booking ahead of time. The staff helped us find room for us, our dog and car. We were well informed of the prices and other needful information, like breakfast, dinner and the opportunity to make waffles. The room was clean, spacious and had good sound proofing. We hardly heard any noises from the other guests. They provided bowls, a towel and snacks for our dog. They have a parking garage for safe parking of cars for a fee. The parking garage has two chargers for electric cars.

Visit to Umeå

Good and nice hotel but needs to improve its information about which room you received. Check when you get the room you booked that it really applies. Didn't apply to us. But still got a good room but not the one we originally ordered.
