A perfect getaway in the Swedish Archipelago!

I was at the Fredriksborg Hotel on an art retreat and my stay went way beyond my expectations. The hosts Jessica and Pontus were so warm and welcoming and attended to every detail of our 5 night stay. The rooms were so fresh and beautiful and the food was wonderful- especially the fresh baked cakes and pastries served each afternoon for fika. The setting and grounds were so lovely and we got lucky with beautiful weather to enjoy meals on the terrace. Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel that made our stay so perfect!!!

A big thank you to all of you at Fredriksborg for wonderful days!
We spent two nights here to celebrate a birthday and we got to enjoy wonderful dinners and equally wonderful breakfasts!
A fantastic staff who really make sure that we as guests get to enjoy the stay here.❤️

Avoid at all costs!

We were at Fredriksborgs hotel for wedding peace-sun, incredibly beautiful place with unique banquet room in the fortress. Previous reviews mentioning the owner do not lie, however, she totally ruined the experience. For those of you who think “how bad can it be?” or “one person doesn’t ruin the experience”, think again!
Zero sense of situation, no empathy or goodwill. She will run over your wedding/party dreams as soon as she gets the slightest stress markup, avoid this pose completely! There are other things to book!

Amazing spot right on the water

Went there just for a drink
To enjoy the sunset because I was staying somewhere else (Siggesta Gard) and didn’t enjoy it. The staff was great and welcome me, letting me stay as long as I would while enjoying my beer outside and looking at the sunset on the sea. The view is outstanding and the place could not be nicer. Quiet and beautiful. Recommending it highly.

A gem in the Stockholm archipelago ✨

Very good breakfast, very good breakfast, very friendly staff, very friendly staff. The guided tour of Fredriksborg Fortress before dinner was a much appreciated activity. Can warmly recommend this gem.
