Vaxjö Scandic if you want to have a hysteric nice Breakfast ! The rooms are good value and free Parking - go to Vaxjö !

Affordable with charming staff

Perfect hotel. No luxury but good breakfast, nice staff and good opportunities to charge the electric car outside the door! Maybe you miss AC hot summer nights but you survive. I would like to return if it comes to visiting Växjö!

Scandic Vaxjø - steer away!

Here you do not actually get rented rooms, although there is available capacity. Nor does the arrogant young guy at the reception know what a room costs. I ask if he can go into booking.com and check for us there. He looks indescribably sad and abandoned.
And the story gets better.
Because when we stand there in the reception tired and tired after a too long journey, and out of power on phones, we are simply told that we still have to go somewhere and get our phones charged, for example at the nearest gas station ,
- and then make online booking.
It doesn't help that there are free rooms. And that the guy stands with the PC in front of him. And that he has nothing to do.
And when I ***** ask if this is a bad joke I get a reprimand for being rude “Why are you talking to me like that? You can try Elite Stadshotellet instead »
I stand there moaning, before I get summed up, bringing bags out again.
The ending is a happy ending without par. Saturday, June 20th will be fantastic.
For Elite welcomed us with open arms, excellent service, the world’s finest room and the best fish’n chips I’ve ever tasted.
Thank God we were found at Scandic's door.

Work trip

It is so terribly cumbersome and difficult to book a room on site. I came by one morning at seven before work and thought I'd book a couple of nights. She refused because it was check out but there was no one else there who wanted to check out. Come back after eleven o'clock and maybe we can help you out.

Studies

This was the fourth time at the hotel in connection with studies at Linnaeus University. This time I had written as a wish, that I did NOT want a handicap accessible room. But it was still one of those I got. Maybe there are only accessible single rooms? The three times I stayed in a single room at the hotel I have received it every time. The disadvantage of it according to me is that alarm buttons are placed so that you can easily access accidentally. The soap is also a few inches from the sink, which makes it drip and get wet on the floor.
Apart from this, it was an okay room. Good seat with desk for studies. The bed was just soft enough and I slept well. However, the pillows were small.
Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from.
