2 nights at Kettenbruecke, a work trip
The hotel is at street level, but the street level is actually the third floor, here you can find the reception and breakfast / restaurant. Breakfast was very nice, the view from the restaurant as well. I was staying in room 207 which is on the 2nd floor. The elevator is a bit strange, with some missing buttons but you can figure it out quickly.
Good rooms, good bed, housekeeping every day, drinking water was provided in a large glass bottle in the room, there was also a shaving kit, soap (gel for showering and hands), conditioners, and other amenities. The rooms also provide a rolling shutter in case you want to black out the lights. There was a TV which I didn't use, but it looked nice. One bed had 2x USB A type sockets (no USB C or wall socket) so i charged my phone under the TV (socket on the side of the table). The other side of the bed had a wall socket, but then i'd have to walk around the entire bed to get it. I was alone with a king size (2x matresses) bed.
The hotel is about a 10min walk away from some nice restaurants and pubs, 15 min walk away from the train station.
I have slept soundly for the 2 nights i stayed there, haven't heard any neighbors, but the shower seemed to drip and i thought it was someone flicking the switches in the corridor, after placing it on the ground and letting it drain (by opening the port for the rainfall shower head) the noise subsided.
I really enjoyed my stay, I slept good on the comfortable beds and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The atmosphere feels inviting, nothing felt out of place or out of order.
I can't comment on the value as I haven't paid for the stay (my employer did), but I really enjoyed it.

More like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel.
The hotel was okay. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Sunday, but we found a good alternative. Reception is not staffed after 4 PM.
