Very good

Excellent mountain top cafe / guest house. Service was efficient and friendly. Wide ranging menu. Beautiful scenic views! Close to the railway station and cable car to Andermatt. Free WiFi available. Over 2000 metres above sea level! Very traditional Swiss.

Miserable service

On March 7th, 2024 at around 9:30 a.m., I wanted to order a latte and a nut croissant from an employee on the terrace. I was the only guest at the time. His comment: you can only order online on the terrace. My partner and I have been guests at your place several times and it was never a problem to order drinks and food verbally or from the menu. Hospitality looks different!!!! I was probably the last time I was a guest at your place.

Worth seeing mountain inn

Very authentic mountain guesthouse, good breakfast, delicious dinner (for house guests) and great service. Even difficult dietary restrictions are solved sensationally by the kitchen! Tip: book room 1!

Hospitality

On August 11th, 2023, we were on the restaurant terrace at 5 p.m. in fantastic weather. In total, the terrace was occupied by about 20 people and no one got anything to drink. There was no sign anywhere on the access stairs saying that the restaurant was closed. It's a shame that on such a dream day, the hungry and thirsty hikers who had to wait for the train were fobbed off with the comment that only hotel guests could be served. They are definitely not dependent on sales here. So a great day has a bitter aftertaste. Conclusion: we will certainly not visit this restaurant again in the future and will not recommend it.

Wonderful experience!

Loved our experience here - the room was perfect for our family of four, so comfortable and clean!! Even though the bathrooms are shared amongst all rooms on each floor, it was no problem. The breakfast and evening meals were fantastic! Compliments to the chef and staff. Being right on the snow was incredible and waking up to the view every day was so special! Would highly recommend and would stay again in a flash!
