Location, location, location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Appenzell! We stayed in a double room with two twin beds (Room 301), and it was perfect. One feature we especially appreciated was that each of us had our own little “nook” area, which made the room feel cozy while still giving us our own space. The view of the rolling hillside is spectacular!
The bathroom was spacious, the shower had excellent water pressure, and everything was impeccably clean. Housekeeping clearly takes great pride in maintaining the hotel.
Breakfast each morning was wonderful, with all the traditional European breakfast favorites, plus made-to-order eggs if you’d like them. It was the perfect way to start each day.
The COOP, Lidl and Migros grocery stores are not far away for everyday essentials and snacks.
Hotel Appenzell is a smaller hotel, and that personal touch really shows. The staff takes exceptional care of the property, and it feels welcoming from the moment you arrive. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Appenzell. You won’t be disappointed!

Location of this hotel was centered in Appenzell. Our room was small yet we didn’t feel cramped the lift was useful and not too far from our room. The room was tidy and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the staff and their hospitality

This is a fantastic hotel! The staff are kind and friendly. The bed was wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel ( and it’s in the most charming village in Switzerland).
