Facility and Responsibility

I had lunch and dinner here many times. Unfortunately I only stayed one night in this hotel, had booked in another hotel but what would have been combined was not the promised so I had to change the last of the hour and thankfully the other did not go well. During the days I was in Ascona I always had breakfast with them and I met the employees, both from the breakfast service and the restaurant. I met Sandra from the breakfast service that I loved, as I have problems with lactose I talked to her and the next day had my lactose-free products . All employees from morning to night are wonderful,responsible,reliable and very attentive to customer needs. Keep going with your customers, I will always come back and I don't need to look for another hotel, my choice is made. Umbrella to all who so well welcomed us

Not rated, as we were not served.

Unfortunately, no rating possible! We had time and leisure - as recommended on the Piazza homepage! But we could not order the promised authentic Ticino aperitivo lungo. It wasn't us who simply turned our backs on everyday life (original quote from the homepage!), but the waiter who turned his back on us! We were ignored by him for 20 minutes; he preferred to fold napkins and distribute cutlery on empty tables. With the sun on our faces and the lake in view, we fortunately found two doors down, also lungo lago, very friendly waiters at the Albergo Elvezia.

Expensive for what it is, just an aperitif

Really enjoyable, doesn't matter if you want to stay for long or just want to drink something.

Great staff, delicious food and a very nice atmosphere
