The location, services, & staff were great. The only problem was that I couldn’t get the AC to work.

We were visiting during a heat wave and the rule is that you can set the AC, 5 degrees lower then the outside temperature. Needless to say it wasn't a pleasant evening sleeping, when it was 95 degrees outside. Americans would say there was no AC but there, it's just a hot day. I would have liked a top sheet on the bed instead of a fluffy duvet. The ice machine was broken on our floor, and no refrigerator in the room.
The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. There is not a lot around this hotel. The restaurant was just ok. They charged you the cost of the buffet breakfast which was 25 Euros for coffee. It is convenient to the airport and they have a shuttle.

The staff that was excellent and tried to help us in every way. The first room we got was over 100 degrees. The room they moved us to was around 90 degrees but at least the system was working. The staff advised us that the manager was the only one who could change the system. It was miserable sleeping and glad to get out of Switzerland.

We stayed here our last night of our European trip as we had a 6 am flight. The 50 bus stops right next to the hotel and is less than a 10 min ride directly to the terminal (first bus is at 6:15 a.m.)
Hotel was incredibly clean and the front desk was very helpful. Basel Cards for the day were already prepared pre-areival.
We were allowed to check in 2 hours early since a comparable room was prepared and clean.

Although the design aesthetic was a bit too gaudy for me, this was just a one night stay and the room was as I expected. The staff were incredibly helpful….despite the shuttle bus officially only running between 6am and 9pm, the hotel picked us up at the airport and 9.30pm and returned us to the airport at 5.30am….we did not expect or insist on this, but they kindly offered, despite us saying we would get a taxi. Great service!
