City Inn Basel was a perfect base for exploring Basel. It is next door to the main train station and tram lines that will get you all over the city. The room was a little small, but the bathroom was huge! The luggage rack was built in and made for a very small suitcase. And there was only one so one of us had to open our suitcase on the floor of the bathroom! But the staff were helpful, the breakfast was good, and the room was quiet. It was perfect for a couple days in the city.

We booked this hotel last minute because we wanted AC. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The AC was good, they provided a bed for our baby and accepted an early check in and late check out. Everything was clean, the staff was nice, available and helpful.
It's easy to walk to all tourist attraction and very close to the train station!
We would definitely stay there again.
The only thing that would have made our stay better is having a minifridge in the room.

Windows were very bad, i had a room that faces the main street and the sound from outside was as there were no windows.
Room was clean and staff was friendly.

Nice, clean hotel just next to the railway station. Easy check in with a nice receptionist.

Very wonkey getting around in the hotel. You have to use two elevators and walk through many corridors but the price and location are good. Very near the train, tram, and bus. Thrifty shopping and eating nearby. The room is very large. The shower is also large. Breakfast is good. No complaints.
