This hotel was a little gem in a fairly rural area. Located approximately thirty-minutes from the airport, by taxi or by train but absolutely adorable. We had a very nice Swiss breakfast and loved our canopy bed and modern shower/bathroom. We would definitely stay there again.

Price - performance not right

For our meeting for four in the evening a great ambience. Unfortunately, the service was unprofessional; inattentive, passive, unmotivated, service came only partly from the right. We chose fish for 2 among others; only after renewed demand did the order work.
The fish came out of the oven and onto the table very hot in a bowl. The sauce was too salty.

No bread, no soul!

We arrived at 7:30 in the morning, tired and hungry from our trip. Having noticed that a lot of guests were already having breakfast, we asked the waitress if we could have coffee and breakfast as well. She brought us two coffees and said that normally, we couldn’t have breakfast since they always count the bread beforehand and they have no sparebread for walk-in-guests. We asked if we could have normal bread and she said that she would see what she could do for us. She kept us waiting for 20 minutes before we decided that it was time to go. When we left, she told us that she was very sorry, but that we still had to pay 10 francs for two coffees. Tougher than the price for the coffees were the chairs that we had to sit on while waiting. The only reason why we give 1/5 is the outdoor architecture.
In conclusion: no bread, no soul.
