Home away from home

Very nice and large double room. Fast wi-fi connection all over the place.
But the thing that I liked the most was the great hosts that manage this B they really went that extra mile with me and invited me to champagne for my birthday!
Looking forward to coming to the area again.

Very good location for walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside

Our two night stay was ok . The house was clean and tidy . Our room was somewhat small but it had a pleasing little balcony. The bed seemed quite hard to us . Breakfast was fine and included fresh fruit , cheese , eggs , meats and bread . There was only one bathroom ,shared by other guests and the owners . We felt a lack of privacy .
From the house you can immediately be walking in beautiful countryside , with stunning views of the nearby snow covered mountains. This was a joy .

Like being at home, but better

Unlike some other B&Bs, at B&B Wepfer you're actually staying at someone's home. Once we got over the initial awkward feeling of being in someone's home, it turned out to be a very nice experience. The rooms are very comfortable (all equipped with large flat screen TVs and sat TV), and you have all the privacy you could want. Same with the shared bathroom, which we initially thought would be awkward, but after 4 days we didn't have 1 single issue.
Of course, what makes this B&B great is Heinz and Asun, who went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They will give you as much privacy and companionship as you'd like, and the breakfast, with more fresh fruit than you can shack a stick at, was always delicious.
The area itself is quite, and is great for walking and relaxing, but you're a 5 minute drive to some very good restaurants in Wetzikon, and only a 30-min drive from Zurich. This is a greta location for exploring the area without staying in another big city.
A car is definitely recommended, though.

Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise

Einfamilenhaus, den Schlüssel fanden wir unproblematisch im Schlüsselkasten. Erster Eindruck beim Eintreten, schlecht gelüftet. Das Zimmer war etwas chaotisch eingerichtet, aber das ist Geschmacksache Gemeinschaftsbad mit der ganzen Familie! Sauber wars , aber Flecken auf dem Leintuch. Ruhige Gegend. Frühstück musste sep. bezahlt werden, wir haben es nicht gebucht. Die Nacht kostet SRF 110.00, wir fanden Preis/Leistung zu hoch.

Très charmant

Accueil très sympa et lieu plein de charme. Les 2 chambres donnent sur un petit balcon. Le patron possède un magasin de fleurs et des fleurs il y a partout. Petit déjeuner avec des fruits et des œufs, jardin avec piscine naturelle. À recommander absolument.
