Staff were helpful, especially since I arrived so late. Showers, toilets and room were very clean, and medium valuables lockers for CHF2 coin (returned on unlocking) available in room, and space to hang your jacket.
There were self serve pay-as-you go drinks and some light snacks available downstairs. Coming by foot, it's a bit of a walk uphill for about 15mins. Brekkie is short availability but has hot/cold selections. Your nearest food/coffee (bakery) is 15-20 min walk away.
Ski lift pass is $15 at front desk, go for the views and trails.

'Excellent All Round'

Just returned from a long weekend staying at Valbella Youth Hostel with a large group of friends. It was great, cannot fault it, we all had a great time. Location is ski in/ski out. The accommodation is very modern and is kept spotless. Great breakout areas, games room, canteen etc. Really good choice of decent wine and local beers. Food good and staff excellent - Huge thanks to Michèle, Nicolas and Rahel.

Snow Time!

Nice hostel, clean, well furnished!
We spent 3 days here and was amazing: just outside the door you're on the ski run!
Skiroom and skipass included, the price is right for the service and the place you are.
Only one thing, you have to buy the skipass with the room.
