Best location in Grindelwald

Lovely hotel. Best location in the centre of Grindelwald, 1 minute from the railway station and buses.Our room had a total full view of the Eiger. Huge long balcony, and also a window in the bathroom with the same view.
Every part of the hotel was very clean. The decor and furnishings were dated but very nostalgic. Our room was cleaned thoroughly daily, usually whilst we were at breakfast, and a chocolate was put on our pillow each day!
The breakfast was good and we thoroughly enjoyed having coffee in a pot and a large jug of hot milk, rather than the usual self service coffee machines that most hotels have these days.
Very good communication with the owner before we arrived, with a very simple self check in to get our keys as we arrived quite late at night.

Friendly staff, good location

The hotel is very close to the Grindelwald train station.
The breakfast was OK.
The room was very clean.
The owners, Peter and Daniela are very nice, as are the other staff members.
In our room there was no A/C. Might be a consideration for summer vacations.

Perfect ski hotel

Possibly the best value hotel in Switzerland and definitely one of the best located. Only 50m from the train station and about 150m from the bus station for Terminal and First and all the restaurants. Friendly, quiet and very well run by Peter and team, with jaw-dropping views of the Eiger and Grindelwald from the balcony. Good breakfast too. Great stay, highly recommend for skiers.

Value for money, lovely location and breakfast

We totally love the location! It is just 2 minutes walk from the Grindelwald Station.
The room is spacious with sachets of shampoo and soap provided. The floor creaks at certain steps and the bathroom can get a little too dark. We can hear next-door conversations from the toilet. The windows to our room (22) faces the bank.
The breakfast offered is lovely with a decent variety of choices.

Right in front of the station. Cheap.

Great location. Oh my God, it's right behind the station.
Cheap. However, the view is the back door of the next hotel.
The floor of the roadside room is angled.
I thought I was crazy, but I wasn't.
The room, which is expensive and has a majestic view of Iger, has a renovated floor to make it look different. The rate of Oriental vacationers is high.
Family business. I feel like I'm being jammed all the time.
I can certainly see Iger from the breakfast hall, but when I try to go out on the terrace it's locked, and my husband says, "See you later," but that's what I'm talking about.
At least put tissue paper in the room.
