Perfect location

Just finished a three night stay at the Parkhotel. Staff was super helpful and friendly, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were top notch and they even had opera singers our last night there! Location can’t be beat and shuttle service for check in/out is very appreciated.
My only point of feedback is to change the WiFi process and make it simpler with just a code like everywhere else. Their antiquated system requires a code to be texted but if you’re on airplane mode (else US carriers charge you for any data transmitted) you can’t receive the text. There’s a WhatsApp option but it barely works, just give folks a code!

Great Family Friendly Stay

Just returned from a great 4 night stay at Parkhotel. I stayed in a family room with my husband and our two daughters. This room was massive for European standards and included a full separate space separated by a curtain for my daughters to sleep in. While I was slightly panicked after not realizing until just before check in that there was not air conditioning, this was not an issue at all. We had two large balconies and two additional windows that cooled the room completely. The hotel also provided additional fans to help circulate the air. The only downside was that the room did not include a mini-fridge. Additionally, we truly appreciated that the hotel staff graciously transported us to and from the train station with all of our luggage so we did not need to lug our bags up the hill. Wanted to also make a call out to the great location of this hotel. It was in the center of town, with amazing views and high enough to be away from the noise. Truly a great find!

Excellent as always

Returning to the Schoenegg felt like going home, with just one exception everything was excellent. the room was clean and well furnished, the food at breakfast and dinner was great and the serving staff led by Allen were friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Sarah in the bar for making endless cups of tea whenever I appeared. The large swimming pool was welcome in the hot weather.
What must be improved are the arrangements for collecting guests from the Station on arrival. Due to flight cancellations two of us- both over 75 years old - arrived at 9.40 pm. the hotel said they could not collect us as usual due to the late hour, but should at least have arranged a taxi - we would have paid. Its a long uphill walk carrying luggage.

Welcoming for families! Very happy with our stay.

Excellent hotel, we felt very welcome with our two young children. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. Special thank you to Dario, Javier and Melina who looked after our dinners with expert attention and the very thorough tour by Illes at check in! Reception staff are helpful with instructions and go out of their way to suggest activities and help you get around.
Hotel rooms are large, pool is a good temperature refreshingly cool on a hot summer day.
Suggest getting half board if you stay as the dinner is very reasonably priced this way

Wonderful position and exceptional food

Just returned from 10 nights halfboard at Parkhotel Schoenegg. Very convenient location with exceptional views, if you have a mountain view South facing room. Spotlessly clean, well run family owned hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff throughout, who really work as a team. Highlight was the food with buffet breakfast including large range of fruit, cold meats, cheese, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, croissants and more. 5 course dinner was outstanding with delicious choice of salads, starter, choice of main, sweet and cheese. All well presented, tasty and served by friendly staff.
Certainly feels like more than a 3* hotel and we would recommend it.
