The best in the world
A special thank you to the incredible General Manager, Nadia, whose leadership is reflected in every detail of the guest experience.
The service throughout the hotel is second to none. Salvatore prepared the most delicious homemade pasta especially for us, making every meal unforgettable. At breakfast, Giovanni welcomed us each morning with kindness and impeccable service. Angela at the front desk always made us feel genuinely cared for, while Nuno and Sammy at the concierge went above and beyond to assist with every request.
The housekeeping team deserves special recognition—they are simply the best in the world. The rooms are maintained to absolute perfection, and their attention to detail is truly remarkable.
At the Italian restaurant,Maria Elena, Alexandros and Guilherme provided outstanding service and made every dinner a wonderful experience.
The spa is spectacular, with world-class facilities that offer complete relaxation. A heartfelt thank you to Laura, Raffaela, and Kasya for their professionalism, warmth, and exceptional care.
Every single employee at The Alpina Gstaad makes you feel valued, welcomed, and at home. It is rare to find a hotel where every team member consistently delivers such genuine hospitality.

Underwhelming Experience
Two very average rooms on the first floor. Minimal view. The bad part it was the side of the hotel where construction was going on. From 8am to 6pm large construction vehicles and pile driving made the patio unusable. If we had known we would have gone somewhere else.
The staff of the hotel just shrugged when we brought up the noise and room. Said they were very busy and booked-up. At this price point($2000 per room per night) I would have expected a little more of a response.
Food OK, but nothing outstanding. Hey it’s Switzerland so expect $50 for a cocktail.
Great hiking in the area and the concierge team is helpful with planning.
