A unique experience.

I would like to be open, fair, and transparent.
There was an enormous amount of positive things:
- Really friendly, warm, and accommodating staff at the reception and in the dining room (with one exception, see below).
- Fantastic food, especially the new bread-baking service is simply amazing!
- Wonderful landscape. In cold weather, the thermal spa in Andeer is inviting.
- I have rarely seen such a beautiful bathroom in a monastery. Insider tip: Ask for the rooms H024, H124, or H224!
At the moment, the situation with the nuns is tense because the order will soon be dissolved. In this regard, there was a regrettable and intense incident with a nun in the dining room on the 1st. Evening. Please speak directly with Fabienne or Steffen at the reception in such a case. They are open, warm, and empathetic. In my case, there was even a price reduction and an apology. I can be satisfied with that.

Special experience

Very special experience. It feels a bit like a hostel but you have your own rooms and own bathrooms. The owners try to make you comfortable by casual talks, which is kinda nice if you have the time. Everything cool. Location is a little remote but there is plenty of parking. Good price value for this region.

Calme apaisant et reposant

Le bâtiment est en dehors du village quelque peu en hauteur. L’accueil est chaleureux et les locaux de tranquillité facilement accessible depuis les chambres. La literie est de très bonne qualité, la chambre est d’une belle surface bien que la salle de bain soit très petite. Les repas et buffet de petit déjeuner sont servis généreusement

Schöne Lage und echte Gastfreundschaft

Das Kloster liegt oberhalb der Stadt Ilanz mit schönem Blick in die Bergwelt. Ruhige, friedliche Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt mit schönem modernem Badezimmer. Auch jetzt in Coronazeiten gab es Frühstück und ein vier-gängiges Abendessen - natürlich mit allen Schutzmassnahmen. Es war eine reichhaltige Auswahl mit sehr authentisch freundlichen Mitarbeitenden. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und danke für die echte Gastfreundschaft. Die Lage ist auch deshalb ideal, weil von Ilanz aus viele Täler in die Bergwelt abgehen: Val Lumnezia, Tal nach Vals, Safiental, Obersaxen ..... alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ich freue mich auf das nächste Mal.
