Idyllic stay

Stay in magic lover!
Loveroom package, rose petals, Jacuzzi that slips onto the terrace, delicious meals, adorable staff, beautiful scenery, all for a wonderful time!

absolutely overwhelmed in service and in the kitchen

Hotel room okay as far as it goes. Kitchen and staff totally overwhelmed and absolutely unfriendly - drinks and food ordered multiple times, finally the food was served lukewarm, without comment, and the drinks were the wrong ones. The service employee pointed out to the guests very rudely that they should please be patient - after waiting over an hour - well, I observed everything, I will probably have to reschedule my business trips.

Rude owner

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience on this terrace. We arrived with the intention of having a drink and consuming something. One person in our group had an almost empty beer bottle in hand. After we had taken a seat at a table, the waiter politely explained to us that consuming drinks from outside is not allowed. We understood that immediately, and the person in question went outside to finish the beer, intending to return afterward and order something together with us.
While we were waiting, an older gentleman, whom we assume was the owner of the restaurant, began to knock very aggressively on the window. We were surprised by this behavior and felt uncomfortable, which is why we decided to leave. The person with the beer was already outside at that time. Nevertheless, the gentleman followed us and began to address us in a very aggressive manner. He said that he "did not need customers like us" and that we should disappear. Additionally, he made offensive gestures and behaved extremely unprofessionally.

Very rude staff and I was overcharged.

Do not stay here. The staff is rude, rooms are dilapidated, and I was overcharged not once, but twice. The man at the front desk was extremely rude when I checked in. I was also told the room I booked was not available so they had to give me a smaller, lower quality room. He then charged me for the small room even though I had already paid double the price for the original room. I noticed that an hour later so I was able to get a refund. However, they would not give me my money back for me having prepaid for the nicer room, saying they “don’t know what Agoda is, we don’t work with them”. I submitted a complaint and dispute with Agoda and the hotel still refuses the refund the difference. Kandersteg in general I don’t recommend visiting.

Run away!

When we arrived, our reservation made by phone had not been noted.
There were four of us, there were only two water glasses. After a complaint, a third drink was served, never the fourth.
The Danish cup ordered with 2 spoons arrived without a spoon. Eventually we got one never 2.
Question drink, a cold tea of 2 deci billed 3 deci and a carafe of water billed 7.50. plus 3 francs for it to be served at the table!
In response to our question, we were told that the servers were not slaves and that they had to be paid.
